Palm Pre may reach $399 on Sprint

Contrary to early rumors that pegged the Palm Pre at a price of just over $200, the Pre may actually reach $399. Gizmodo says a Russian blogger with a history of accurate reports on the canceled Razr 3 claims it will be as high as $399.

"Whether this figure reflects the contract or full retail price is unknown, but the blogger also states that the price of an unlocked GSM version in Europe will run between $500 and $550."

Will a GSM version of the Palm Pre reach the US? So far, it doesn't look like it.
